Supporter of the Month Meet...
Rosemary White (Essex, United Kingdom)
After months of pleading "When can I have a puppy?" the great day arrived and at the age of nine I finally had the longed for pet. I called her Meg, a small black and white sheep dog cross. It may be 65 years ago but that moment of joy is still very clear in my memory. She gave us nine happy years and three litters of puppies.

When my son put a nine week old Red Staffie called "Bubbles" into my arms I bonded and she has given me two years of happiness. Meg, an abandoned dog, was also adopted by my son, so I now have two four legged granddaughters!! I realise what a lot I have missed in my life by not having a dog but mobility problems prevent me from owning one.

Facebook came into my life two and a half years ago and I was introduced to the Soi Dog Foundation and I have a great interest in all they do. I will do all I can by sharing articles, donating and fund raising for the dogs who need the loving care of the Soi Foundation Shelter.

"Sapphire" won my heart and now is now my laptop screensaver. I say "hello" every time I switch on and always get a lump in my throat. I want all dogs to have a forever home with someone to love and to love and care for them in return. Best wishes to you all. Rosemary White. (U.K)
